Resolution
Resolution refers to how many pixels a computer screen can display. A monitor with a resolution of 800 x 600 can display 800 pixels horizontally and 600 pixels vertically. The higher the resolution, the more information that can be displayed.
When buying a monitor or laptop, the minimum acceptable resolution for optimum web surfing is 1024 x 768 pixels.
