Worm
A worm is human-made software program created specifically to wreak mischief on personal computers and networks. This virus got its name because it burrows into a computer's memory and hard drive. It then replicates itself, filling up the drive until the computer comes to a crawl or crashes. To avoid infection, routinely run an anti-virus program.
